Los beneficios de mi té favorito: ¡el matcha!

¡Hola mis amores! A media semana es normal que nos sintamos un poco cansados, es por eso que siempre procuro llenarme de energía al llevar una alimentación balanceada y con muchos nutrientes. Uno de los ingredientes que procuro incluir es el matcha, ya que cuenta con una inmensa cantidad de beneficios que sin duda les cambiará la vida.

Hello my loves! Half a week it's normal that we feel a bit tired, that’s why I always try to fill myself with energy by eating a balanced diet with many nutrients. One of the ingredients that I try to include most of the times is matcha, since it has an immense amount of benefits that undoubtedly will change your life.

El matcha, como muchas otras variantes del té verde, está formado por una serie de antioxidantes llamados catequinas, los cuales se cree que tienen la capacidad para combatir células cancerígenas en nuestros cuerpos. Por otro lado, distintos estudios científicos relacionaron este tipo de hoja con distintas mejoras para la salud, como prevenir problemas cardiacos, diabetes e inclusive perder peso.

Matcha, like many other green tea variants, is made up with a series of antioxidants called catechins, which are believed to have the ability to fight cancer cells in our bodies. On the other hand, different scientific studies related this type of leaf with an immense variety of health benefits, like preventing heart problems, diabetes and even losing weight.

¡Hola mis amores! Hace poco descubrí un nuevo perfume y hoy quiero platicarles un poco más sobre la fragancia que elegí hoy para completar mi outfit. Siempre me han apasionado los perfumes, de hecho tengo una colección en mi clóset y trato de usar cada uno de ellos dependiendo del día, mi estado de ánimo o el tipo de look que voy a usar. Me fascina la sensación de saber que a donde vaya, llevo un aroma diferente. Para mí, lo más importante en una fragancia es que sea muy femenina y alegre.

I've always been passionate about perfumes, in fact I have a collection in my closet and I try to use each of them depending on the day, my mood or the type of look I'm going to wear. I am fascinated by the feeling of knowing that wherever I go, I carry a different scent. For me, the most important thing in a fragrance is that it is very feminine and cheerful.

Efectivamente, ahorrar en estos tiempos podría ser difícil pero nunca es tarde para seguir intentándolo. A continuación te doy algunos de los métodos que me han servido.

This year has started full of adventures and travel, however, as much as we want to conquer the world, it is always important to understand the importance of saving money to feel calm and make future plans. Indeed, doing that in these times could be difficult but is never too late to keep trying. Below I give you some of the methods that have been useful to me.

El reto de las 52 semanas:

Este primer tip consiste en un reto semanal que al principio es fácil de cumplir pero conforme avanzan los meses se pone un poco más complicado. Durante un año tendrás que guardar cierta cantidad de dinero. La primera semana 10 pesos, la segunda 20 pesos y así consecutivamente. Te impresionará la cantidad que tendrás al final. 

The challenge of the 52 weeks:

This first tip consists of a weekly challenge that at first will be easy to fullfill but as the months pass it gets a bit more complicated. For a year you will have to sabe a certain amount of money. The first week 10 pesos, the second 20 pesos and so one, you will be impressed by the final amount.

El desafío de los 365 días:

Este es similar al otro pero en vez de ahorrar cada semana ahorrarás cada día. Si ahorras de peso en peso al final de la semana tendrías 28 pesos y eso lo multiplicarías por lo que guardes el resto del año.

The 365 day challenge:

This is similar to the other one but instead of saving every week you will do it every day. If you save little by little, at the end of the week you will have a good amount that later will be multiplied by what you saved the rest of the year.

Método Harv Eker:

Este método está registrado en el libro “Los secretos de la mente millonaria” del autor y es una técnica que consiste en saber en qué inviertes todo tu dinero. Para lograrlo tienes que dividir tus ganancias mensuales y destinarlas la mitad a necesidades básicas y el resto del 50% dividido entre ocio, ahorro, caridad, capacitación, inversión.

Harv Eker method:

This method is registers in the book “The secrets of the millionaire mind” of the author and is a technique that consists of knowing in what you invest all your money. To achieve this you have to divide your monthly earnings and allocate half of them to basic needs and the rest of the 50% divided between leisure, savings, charity, training, and investment.

Este libro japonés explica de la forma más simple cómo nuestra forma de economizar ha ido cambiando. Necesitas utilizar una simple libreta en la que registres tus gastos mensuales y estar conscientes de todo el dinero que gastas y así valorar aquello en lo que si vale la pena hacerlo.

This Japanese book explains in the simplest way how our way of economizing has changed. You need to use a simple notebook in which you record your monthly expenses and be aware of all the money you spend and that way you’ll be able to value what is more worthy.

This city was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The colonial vibe and its historical and architectural offer, make it one of the favorite places both for the people who live in Mexico City as well as for foreigners who visit our country. Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar at the Rosewood Hotel is one of the best bars and restaurants. Here Pablo and I have experienced incredible evenings and nights with a panoramic view of San Miguel. The main dish on their menu are international tapas as well as margaritas, martinis and other cocktails prepared by experts.

10 frases de mujeres que me inspiran todos los días

¡Feliz Día de la Mujer! El empoderamiento femenino hoy en día lo es todo. Me hace muy feliz decir que desde chica tengo cerca a muchas mujeres que son excelentes en todo lo que hacen y literalmente son el vivo concepto de la Wonder Woman contemporánea. Admiro su habilidad para dividir sus tiempos y lograr a la perfección todo lo que se proponen –desde ser excelentes en su trabajo hasta ser buenas en la escuela o grandes mamás, amigas, hermanas y más–. 5 cosas que hago cuando regreso de un viaje largo

¡Hola mis amores! Ya conocen mi fascinación por los viajes pero también para mí es fundamental estar en mi casa, cerca de Pablo, de mi familia y de mis amigos. Por eso hay días como hoy en los que tengo menos de 24 horas antes de irme nuevamente y me gusta aprovecharlos al máximo. Para que conozcas un poco más sobre mi día a día, te digo qué hago exactamente cuando regreso de un viaje largo.

Hi my loves! They already know my fascination for travel but also for me it is essential to be in my house, close to Pablo, my family and my friends. That's why there are days like today where I have less than 24 hours before I leave again and I like to make the most of them. So that you know a little more about my day to day, I tell you what I do exactly when I come back from a long trip.

1. Veo a Pablo.

Amo llegar a mi casa y platicar horas con él. No importa si es demasiado temprano o tarde, tratamos de estar pasar el mayor tiempo posible juntos. Casi siempre es él quien me lleva al aeropuerto o trata de alcanzarme si estoy de viaje aunque sea unos días.

1. I'm with Pablo.
I love coming to my house and talking with him for hours. It does not matter if it's too early or late, we try to spend as much time as possible together. It is almost always he who takes me to the airport or tries to reach me if I'm traveling even if it is a few days.

2. Checo mis mails.

A veces, cuando estoy fuera por muchos días y de arriba para abajo se me complica checar todos los pendientes y responder los mails que recibo. Generalmente cuando llego se me quita el sueño y me pongo en acción (jajaja).

3. Estoy con mi familia. 

Disfruto al máximo viajar y conocer lugares nuevos pero también extraño mucho estar con ellos. Cuando estoy con mis papás, con mi hermana, con mi sobrina y toda mi familia me lleno buena energía para seguir luchando y lograr mis metas. En París estuve feliz con mi hermana, pasamos días increíbles y nos divertimos mucho.

I really enjoy traveling and getting to know new places but I also miss being with them a lot. When I am with my parents, with my sister, with my niece and all my family I fill up good energy to keep fighting and achieve my goals. In Paris I was very happy with my sister, we had incredible days and we had a lot of fun.

4. Me hago un tratamiento de belleza.

Desde ir al salón a hacerme manicure y pedicure hasta usar una sheet mask o hacerme un facial, siempre que me bajo del avión trato de sumarle algo así a mi rutina de belleza.

No hay nada mejor que llegar de un vuelo eterno directo a tu cama a ver Netflix. Es la mejor forma de recargar pilas y estar lista para lo que sigue.

¡Hola mis amores! Oficialmente esta semana termina Fashion Week y por eso me encantó hacerles este recap sobre la mayoría de los looks que elegí en cada una de las capitales de la moda. Si pudiera escoger una tendencia en particular, diría que las prendas extremadamente abrigadoras y prácticas dominaron el street style.

Hi my loves! Officially this week Fashion Week ends and for this I would like to make a recap on all the looks I used in each of the fashion capitals. If I could choose a particular trend, I would say that extremely warm and practical clothes conquered street style.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Fue el primer acercamiento a lo nuevo en las colecciones prêt-à-porter. Con cambios que van desde las colecciones combinadas para hombres y mujeres, hasta los formatos de pasarelas alternativas, el verdadero desafío fue vestirse cool para el clima frío y la nieve. Para los días que estuve en Nueva York usé conjuntos con diferentes texturas, tonos y gamas de color. 

It was the first approach to the new in prêt-à-porter collections. With changes ranging from combined collections for men and women, to alternative gateway formats, the real challenge was to dress cool for cold weather and snow. For the days I was in New York I picked looks with different textures, shades and color ranges.

MILAN FASHION WEEK

El layering fue lo más visto en Milán. Uno de los denominadores de estilo común fueron las bolsas chicas usadas sobre abrigos y a la cintura. Sobre los códigos de vestimenta, las combinaciones entre prendas deportivas y con diferentes estampados así como los tejidos en piel y botines de diferentes colores y materiales. 

The layering was the most seen trend in Milan. One of the denominators of common style were the small bags used on coats. About the dress codes, the combinations between sportswear and with different prints as well as the leather fabrics and booties of different colors and materials.

PARIS FASHION WEEK

El clima frío en París durante la Semana de la Moda me permitió usar mucha ropa de invierno. El street style que vi esta semana estuvo protagonizado por los textiles monocromáticos y por prendas vibrantes.

The cold weather in Paris during Fashion Week allowed me to wear a lot of winter clothes. The street style that I saw this week was led by monochromatic textiles and vibrant pieces.

48 horas en París: ¿Qué hacer y a dónde ir?

¡Feliz lunes mis amores! Como ya lo han visto en mi Instagram e Instagram Stories –gracias infinitas por todos sus comentarios– estoy en París. Y aunque parezca difícil de creer, las primeras veces que estuve en esta ciudad en Fashion Week casi no tenía tiempo de turistear entonces aprendí a recorrer la ciudad en sólo algunas horas. Pocas ciudades se pueden comparar con las atracciones culturales, los restaurantes, cafés y la vida nocturna que puedes encontrar en París. IN THE MORNING
Start the day by buying a delicious croissant at the Moisan bakery and then walk along the Place des Vosges, the oldest in Paris. Here in the neighborhood of Le Marais you'll be surprised to see the amount of shops, bars, hotels and important cultural institutions that you can find. All you have to do is choose between the Carnavalet Museum, the Picasso Museum or the Maison Européene de la Photographie. If you like to go shopping, near here you'll find the streets that lead to Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, the best place in the city for shopping.

A MEDIO DÍA

Desde el Marais, cruza el río Sena por el Pont de Sully hasta el Institut du Monde Arabe, que alberga una excelente colección de arte y una cafetería en la azotea con una vista increíble al Sena. Después de un paseo por los alrededores te recomiendo almorzar en La Palette, un café que ya es un clásico.

Walking from the Marais, cross the Seine river through the Pont de Sully to the Institut du Monde Arabe, which houses an excellent art collection and a rooftop café with an incredible view of the Seine. After a walk around, I recommend having lunch at La Palette, a café that is already a classic.

POR LA TARDE

Desde aquí, te recomiendo dar un paseo en barco y tomar un helado de Berthillon en Ile St-Louis, antes de ir a la Ile de la Cité y visitar el Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation y Notre-Dame.

From here, I recommend you take a boat trip and have a Berthillon ice cream in Ile St-Louis, before going to the Ile de la Cité and visit the Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation and Notre-Dame.

EN LA NOCHE

Uno de mis lugares favoritos para cenar es la terraza de Le Bar du Marché y luego me gusta cruzar el río para ir a bailar en alguno de los lugares cercanos. Saliendo, puedes cenar tarde en Au Pied de Cochon, que está abierto las 24 horas.

AT NIGHT
One of my favorite places to dine is the terrace of Le Bar du Marché and then I like to cross the river to go dancing in one of the nearby places. Going out, you can dine late at Au Pied de Cochon, which is open 24 hours a day.

DÍA 2: Museos, naturaleza y buena comida

EN LA MAÑANA

Si quieres ir al Louvre, el mejor momento del día es temprano, antes de que la multitud llegue (y de preferencia entre semana). Si quieres otro plan, cruza el Pont des Arts y dirígete hacia el sur hasta llegar a la iglesia más antigua de la ciudad, Eglise St-Germain-des-Prés. Aquí está otro café que amo: Le Rostand. Después puedes caminar hasta el Jardin du Luxembourg e ir al Musée National du Luxembourg que tiene grandes exposiciones de arte.

DAY 2: Museums, nature and good food

IN THE MORNING
If you want to go to the Louvre, the best time of the day is early, before the crowd arrives (and preferably during the week). If you want another plan, cross the Pont des Arts and head south until you reach the oldest church in the city, Eglise St-Germain-des-Prés. Here is another coffee that I love: Le Rostand. Then you can walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg and go to the Musée National du Luxembourg which has great art exhibitions.

Desde ese punto puedes subirte al metro de Jacques Bonsergent y pasear por el Canal St-Martin bordeado de árboles y románticos puentes que llevan a las mejores tiendas y cafés junto al agua.

POR LA TARDE

Si te gusta el arte moderno, te recomiendo visitar la colección del Museo de Arte Moderno de la Ciudad de París. Desde aquí, puedes caminar por Champs-Elysées hasta llegar a la torre Eiffe y el Arco del Triunfo que está recién renovado para ver las luces de la avenida.

If you like modern art, I recommend you visit the collection of the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris. From here, you can walk through the Champs-Elysées until you reach the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe, which is newly renovated to see the lights of the avenue.

En el Palais de Tokyo puedes tomar un drink en el bar hecho por expertos del lugar y disfrutar de la vista al Sena. Luego, para un plan más relajado puedes cenar en Le Relais de l'Entrecote, mi restaurante favorito en París. ¡Pide la carne con papas fritas! 

AT NIGHT
At the Palais de Tokyo you can have a drink at the bar made by local experts and enjoy the view of the Seine. Then, for a more relaxed plan you can dine at Le Relais de l'Entrecote, my favorite restaurant in Paris. Order the meat with french fries!

Es noche de Oscares y antes de platicarles cuáles fueron mis looks favoritos, me gustaría hablar de los mexicanos que sin duda se convirtieron en los protagonistas de la 90ª edición de los premios Oscar y de los que literalmente me declaro fan. Desde Gael García Bernal y Natalia Lafourcade, quien eligió un vestido espectacular hecho a mano por Yakampot, hasta Eiza González vestida de amarillo usando un diseño de Ralph Lauren. Otra de mis favoritas es y seguirá siendo siempre Salma Hayek quien llevó un vestido de Gucci y forma parte del movimiento #MeToo, a favor de la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres.

It's Oscars night and before telling you about my favorite looks, I would like to talk about the mexicans who undoubtedly became the protagonists of the 90th edition of the Oscars and those who literally declare myself a fan. From Gael García Bernal and Natalia Lafourcade, who chose a spectacular dress handmade by Yakampot, to Eiza González dressed in yellow using a Ralph Lauren design. #PFW: Algunas de las cafeterías imperdibles en París

¡Feliz viernes mis amores! Ya saben que el café 100% está en mi lista de las cosas que me gustan y más cuando estoy en París. Nada mejor que entrar a una de las miles de coffee shops después de caminar en el frío y tomarme un cafecito con un croissant. Les hice esta lista con todos esos lugares que me obsesionan en París para que cuando vengan, visiten cuando menos uno de ellos. ¡Me costó trabajo elegir entre tantas opciones!

Happy Friday my loves! You already know that coffee is on my list of things that I like and most when I'm in Paris. Nothing more delicious than going inside of one of these coffee shops after walking in the cold to have a coffee and a croissant. I made you this list with all those places that obsess me  so that when you come to Paris, you can visit at least one of them. I had a hard time choosing between so many places!

Café de Flore

El Café de Flore es uno de los cafés más antiguos de París y un clásico en la ciudad. Ubicado en la esquina de Boulevard Saint-Germain y Rue Saint-Benoît, se inauguró en 1880 y su nombre viene de una escultura de Flora, la diosa de las flores y la estación de la primavera en la mitología romana.

The Café de Flore is one of the oldest coffee shops in Paris and a classic in the city. Located at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Benoît, it was opened in 1880 and its name comes from a sculpture of Flora, the goddess of flowers and the season of spring in Roman mythology.

Le Peloton Café

Aunque Marais es conocido por tener súper bonitas cafeterías, Le Peloton en la Rue du Pont Louis Philippe es una nueva adición con su suelo de baldosas funky y rincones acogedores. Lo más popular del menú son los waffles dulces o salados y las galletas de chocolate. 

Although Marais is known for having super nice cafes, Le Peloton on the Rue du Pont Louis Philippe is a new addition with its funky floor tiles and cozy corners. The most popular of the menu are the sweet or salty waffles and the chocolate cookies.

A. Lacroix Pâtissier

En este lugar están varios de los pastelitos más bonitos del mundo. Lo que más me gusta de aquí es que tiene vista a la Catedral de Notre Dame. 

In this place are the some of the most beautiful cakes in the world. What I like most about this place is that it overlooks Notre Dame Cathedral.

La Fontaine de Belleville

Es el lugar por excelencia para tomar café Brûlerie de Belleville. El bistró parisino reinventado de Thomas Lehroux no es exactamente una cafetería, pero es mejor. La especialidad de la casa es la baguette clásica de jamón y queso y lo más cool es su terraza. 

It is the best place to have coffee Brûlerie de Belleville. The Parisian bistro reinvented by Thomas Lehroux is not exactly a cafeteria, but it's better. The specialty of the house is the classic baguette of ham and cheese and the coolest is its terrace.

La Compagnie du Café

Este lugar me recuerda a las cafeterías de antaño por su gran espacio estilo cantina, con mesas altas, periódicos. ¡Me encanta el café de este lugar! 

This place reminds me of the cafes of yesteryear for its large canteen-style space, with high tables, newspapers. I love the coffee of this place!

#PFW: La colección con la que Dior celebra la libertad y el feminismo

¡Hola mis amores! Cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de venir a París, vuelvo a comprobar que es uno de mis lugares favoritos. Amo caminar por sus calles, disfrutar de sus cafés, ver la Torre Eiffel y comer en sus deliciosos restaurantes. La ciudad del amor es también la ciudad de la moda, de la revolución, del cambio y de la innovación y Dior nos lo recuerda en cada una de sus nuevas colecciones. A continuación, les platico un poco sobre esta nueva propuesta de la firma francesa y sobre el look que usé para la ocasión. 

Hi my loves! Every time I have the opportunity to come to Paris, I check again that it is one of my favorite places. I love walking through its streets, enjoying its cafes, seeing the Eiffel Tower and eating in its delicious restaurants. LA COLECCIÓN

Para este Otoño – Invierno 2018/2019, Maria Grazia Chiuri, la directora artística de la maison, continúa con su manifiesto feminista en su primera colección de prêt-à-porter  inspirándose en el movimiento de liberación de la mujer en Francia, que comenzó en mayo de 1968. Por otro lado, la marca contrarresta abiertamente el retorno del uniforme, para regresar a lo que este significa en realidad: el individuo prima sobre las diferencias de género, y la igualdad de derechos y roles predomina sobre todas las cosas. 

THE COLLECTION
For this Fall - Winter 2018/2019, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the artistic director of the maison, continues with her feminist manifesto in her first prêt-à-porter collection inspired by the liberation movement of women in France, which began in May 1968. On the other hand, the brand openly counterbalances the return of the uniform, to bring us back to what it signi es: the individual taking precedence over gender differences, and the equality of rights and roles which remains the great conquest of that time.

La primera modelo que desfiló en el jardín del Museo Rodín de París usó una prenda con el lema — “C'est non, non, non et non!”— seguida por una una exhibición constante de peace and love, flower power y viejas pancartas del periódico feminista parisino La Voix des Femmes y portadas de números de revistas como Vogue, Harper's Bazaar o Elle publicadas a lo largo de aquel año. La escenografía indicaba que los grandes cambios políticos y la moda siempre han estado relacionados. 

The first model that walked in the garden of the Rodín Museum in Paris used a garment with the motto - "C'est non, non, non et non!" - followed by a constant display of peace and love, flower power and old banners of the Parisian feminist newspaper La Voix des Femmes and covers of numbers of magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar or Elle published throughout that mythical year. The scenography indicated that major political changes and fashion have always gone hand in hand.

Me fascinaron las prendas en patchwork, los estampados esotéricos, las faldas de ballet y plisadas combinadas con chamarras con un toque masculino. ¡Amé todos los accesorios y detalles! 

I loved the patchwork garments, esoteric prints, ballet skirts and pleats combined with jackets with a masculine touch. I loved all the accessories!

EL LOOK QUE USÉ PARA IR AL DESFILE

Como hacía mucho frío en París, decidí combinar prendas de mezclilla con un poncho XXL y mini bolsa Lady Dior. Para completar el look, usé unos tacones slingback de charol negro y cinta J'Adior y una boina de piel negra. ¡Espero que les haya gustado! 

Because it was very cold in Paris, I decided to mix denim with a poncho and a Lady Dior mini bag. To complete the look, I wore black slingback heels with J'Adior ribbon and a black beret. I hope you liked it!

The model is the global ambassador of the women's clothing brand and in this new chapter she seeks to explore the speed and how it relates to Tommy's love for cars, even how it influences his accelerated lifestyle. Also on the catwalk were Bella Hadid, Anwar Hadid, Lucky Blue Smith, Winnie Harlow and Hailey Baldwin.

¡Feliz lunes mis amores! Mi día de ayer estuvo increíble en Milán porque tuve la oportunidad de ir a la pasarela de Dolce & Gabbana, firma que sin duda es una de mis favoritas. Vestida con un look increíble de la marca, disfruté al máximo ver cómo iniciaba el desfile con bolsas volando en drones como una prueba más de que ya estamos viviendo en el futuro.

Aproximadamente siete drones volaron por la pasarela, cada uno con una bolsa de piel y joyas incrustadas de la última colección Otoño - Invierno 2018/19 de la marca. Minutos después de esto las modelos comenzaron lucir las nuevas prendas en "Secret & Diamonds", la pasarela en la que Domenico Dolce y Stefano Gabbana mostraron una propuesta ecléctica con muchos elementos que hacían referencia al periodo del barroco. 

Approximately seven drones flew down the runway, each with a leather bag and jewels inlaid from the brand's latest Fall-Winter 2018/19 collection. Minutes after this the models began to wear the new collection in "Secret & Diamonds", the runway in which Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana showed an eclectic proposal with many elements that made reference to the Baroque period.

#MFW: La colección de Ferragamo que marca un nuevo capítulo en la historia de la marca

¡Hola mis amores! Después de un largo viaje y de esperar mi maleta horas, por fin estoy al 100% en Milán lista para disfrutar de la Semana de la Moda en una de las ciudades italianas más icónicas. Mi primera parada fue el esperado desfile Otoño-Invierno 2018 de Salvatore Ferragamo, firma que decidió presentar por primera vez ambas colecciones al mismo tiempo.

Hello my loves! After a long journey and some difficulties on the way, I finally made it to Milan and ready to enjoy the Fashion week on one of the most iconic Italian cities ever. My first stop was Salvatore Ferragamo's Autome-Winter 2018 show, a brand that decided to present for the first time both collections at the same time.

En esta ocasión, Paul Andrew presentó su colección inaugural como director creativo encargado de la línea femenina y Guillaume Meilland de la masculina. El origen y motivación principal de las prendas fue en una fiesta que, después de durar horas, va mezclándose con el amanecer de un nuevo día. Lo que a mi me fascinó de esta línea fueron los colores y siluetas, entre los cuales destacan tonos neutros y vibrantes como beige, gris, azul oscuro, rojo, morado y verde.

On this occasion, Paul Andrew presented his inaugural collection as Creative Director in charge of the ladies line and Guillaume Meilland for gentlemen. The origin and main motivation of the garments was a party that, after lasting for hours, it starts to get mixed with the dawn of a new day.  What I really loved about this new collection were the colors and silhouettes, among which neutral and vibrant tones stand out, like beige, grey, dark blue, red, purple and green.

Sin duda, la historia es una parte clave para que una colección trascienda y nosotros como espectadores podamos continuar el viaje de la mano de los diseñadores.

In addition, familiar forms such as in some dresses and coats, achieved a perfect fusion after being complemented with small touches of modernity. There is no doubt that the history is an essential part for a collection to transcend and we as spectators can continue the journey along with the designers.

La piel y telas finas como la seda son claves en las prendas para la próxima temporada de invierno. Ferragamo sugiere combinar los atuendos con botas a la altura de las rodillas o tacones anchos en colores llamativos, para lograr un look destacado de pies a cabeza.

Leather and some fabrics like cashmere and silk are key on the clothes for the next cold season. Ferragamo suggests mixing all those outfits with knee-high boots or block heels in bold colors to achieve an outstanding look from head to toes.

Without question, this new collection of the Italian firm has become one of my favorites and I certainly can't wait to see the rest of the surprises that await me during my stay in Milano.

Sin duda estamos en una de mis épocas favoritas ya que en las ciudades más icónicas como Nueva York, París, Londres y Milán se está llevando a cabo Fashion Week donde las casas de moda más importante presentan las próximas tendencias para Otoño-Invierno 2018. Las propuestas este año han sido variadas, pero una de las realmente me ha fascinado son los zapatos. Desde el clásico tacón rectangular, hasta diseños con el frente picudo y transparencias, a continuación les presento mis modelos favoritos.

Hello my loves! This is, with no doubt, one of my favorite seasons of the year because in some of the most iconic cities like New York, Paris, London and Milan, Fashion week is being celebrated where the most important brands present their trends for Fall-Winter 2018. This year's proposals have been varied, but one that really fascinated me is the shoe designs. From classic high heels to pointed front type and transparencies, up next I will shoe you my favorite models.

Colores llamativos

La colección de Delpozo estuvo llena de propuestas pero sin duda una de mis preferidas fue su forma de usar colores vivos en el calzado. La combinación de calcetas con toques brillantes y el frente puntiagudo dan una perspectiva retro a tu look.

Bright Colors

Delpozo's new collection is full of proposals but one of my favorites is the way he used vivid color on the shoes. The shiny socks with a pointy front combination will definitely give a retro touch to your look.

En la colección de Halpern x Christian Louboutin, el emblemático diseñador decidió darle un giro a su estilo clásico al mostrar unas botas ideales para el otoño pero llenas de texturas llamativas y patrones listos para conquistar la calle.

In the collection of Halpern x Christian Louboutin, the emblematic designer decided to give a twist to his classic style by showing ideal boots for autumn but full of striking textures and patterns ready to conquer the street.

Gamuza como sinónimo de elegancia

La gamuza vuelve a convertirse en protagonista de la próxima temporada de frío como pudimos verlo en el desfile de la icónica diseñadora Carolina Herrera, en el cual combinó botines con tacón de aguja en tonos fríos y hermosas texturas.

Once again, velvet became the protagonist of the next cold season as we could see on Carolina Herrera's runway, where the iconic designer combines short boots and thin heels with cold colors and beautiful textures.

Alexander Wang deja claro que el encaje nunca va a pasar de moda y que también es posible lucirlo en la parte inferior de nuestro look al presentar una serie de tacones y botas con transparencias en negro, el toque ideal para lograr un estilo moderno  elegante.

Alexander Wang made clear that lace is never going to be out of style and that is a good idea to wear it on the low part of our look by presenting a series of high heels and boots with black transparencies, the ideal touch for having a modern and elegant style.

¿Por qué limitarse a un solo color cuando podemos usar dos? Eso lo demostró Bottega Veneta al presentar botas con tacón bajo pero, donde el toque especial, se encuentra en las combinaciones de tonos que logran dar un toque llamativo a tu look final.

Why limiting ourselves to use one color when we can wear two? Bottega Veneta proved it by presenting boots with a special touch that can be found on the color combinations that give a striking touch to your final look.

Yo siempre he sido fan de los zapatos llamativos y en la nueva colección de Tom Ford pudimos ver que nunca los brillos nunca son suficientes, al presentar una serie de zapatos bajos pero con pequeños datalles de diamante que realmente te harán sentir como una princesa.

I have always been a big fan of flashy shoes and in Tom Ford's new collection we could see that glitters are never enough by presenting a series of low height shoes with delicate diamond details that will really make you feel like a princess.

Botas largas: un "must" en tu clóset

A pesar de que la moda suele cambiar cada año, un elemento que nunca puede faltar en tu armario son unas botas largas, del material que prefieras. Sin duda son uno de los accesorios de máxima feminidad y que siempre logran estilizar tu silueta.

Even though fashion is different each year, an element that I think can never miss in your closet is a nice pair of long boots. No doubts it is one of the most feminine and accessories that always will give your silhouette a nice touch.

Una de las características que más destacó en esta temporada fue romper con el tradicional tacón y oprtar por distintas figuras como el soporte del zapato. Prabal Gurung lo ejecutó perfectamente ya que combinó un diseño tradicional de bota con un tacón irregular, logrando darle el toque moderno perfecto.

Non-regular High heels

One of the characteristics that most showed off during this season was to break with the traditional heel design and choosing different figures for giving the right support. Prabal Gurung achieved it in a perfect way because he combined a traditional show design with an irregular heel, giving the perfect modern touch to the look.

Patrones y modelos que nunca pasan de moda

La colección de Michael Kors fue una con la que mejor me sentí identificada, ya que uno de mis pares preferidos es botas de tacón fino pero altura media y con frente picudo, sin importar el color que sea, es esencial que tenga una de estas en mi clóset.

Patterns and models that never go out of style

I really felt identified with this year's Michael Kors Collection. Since one of my favorite shoe designs is thin, medium height boots with pointy front, no matter the color, is essential that I have one of this in my closet.

Brillo y comodidad

Por último, una palabra que utilizará para describir esta temporada es comodidad. Los diseños, al contar con poca altura, pometen ser pares que busquen que te sientas tranquila pero nunca sin perder el esttilo. La forma en la que Christopher Kane lo presentó me fascinó, ya que la mayoría de su calzado tiene muy poco tacón pero están llenos de vida al contar con pequeñas piedras brillantes sumamente coloridas.

Brightness and comfort

At last, one word that I would use to describe this season would be "comfort". As the designs have very low heels, they really promise to be shows that try to make you feel calm but never without losing the style. The form in which Christioher Kane presented it really fascinated me, as most of his pairs are low but full of life by having shiny and colorful rocks on it.

¡Hola mis amores! Si hay algo que me gusta sobre la moda es que, si realmente le pones atención, es atemporal. Cada año vemos pasarelas y colecciones con las que las casas de moda más importantes dictan lo que está IN en ese momento. Sin embargo, ¿se han dado cuenta que después de un par de años volvemos a ver cosas que ya habían sido vistas en décadas anteriores Este es el caso de este accesorio que, después de haber pasado desapercibido en septiembre, ha regresado para conquistarnos en las últimas pasarelas.

Hello my loves! If there is something I really love about fashion is that, if you pay close attention to it, is timeless. Every year we see runways and collection with which the most famous brands determine what is “in” at the moment. Nevertheless, have you realized that after some years we see again some accessories or clothes that had already been seen decades ago? That is the case of this item that, after having gone unnoticed in September, it has come back to conquer the runways one more time.

Después de ver los desfiles de Simone Rocha y Versace, todas sus modelos lucieron broches en ambos lados de la cabeza. Ahora, esa moda ha salido de las pasarelas directo a conquistar redes sociales como Instagram y convertirse en un aliado del Street style, donde cada vez más it-girls deciden posar con ellas y dejar claro que es el nuevo complemento para lucir un look 100% chic.

After debuting on the shows of Simone Rocha and Versace, all of the models wore clips on each side of their heads. Now the trend has come out of Fashion Week and straight to conquer social media like Instagram and transforming into street style’s best ally, where more it-girls decide to pose with them and making it clear that is the best complement you need for having a 100% chic look.

Así que, sólo es cuestión de tiempo para que empiecen a verlas cada vez más y a inspirarse en distintos peinados para tener un corte muy ad hoc con la temporada. ¿Qué opinan? ¿Les gustan?
