Summer in NY

Blame it for my love for the "Sex and the City" culture, but I do love NY... and last weekend, hubs and I spent some days in the sunny big apple... 

I mean, who doesn't love NY... and when you got nice weather, NY is even prettier, but to be honest, finding outfits for this amazing city is always a challenge. The weather is always changing, and of course, I always want to feel pretty, be comfy and chic at the same time (I know, that a lot, haha). 

Well, I've realized that one of the most comfy outfits for warm weathers is always the long skirt option. Of course, we could always go with denim shorts, but if you want something dressier, the long skirt will always be an option. 

I found these long skirt from Revolve (Majorelle collection), and it comes with a nice shoulderless shirt... of course, you can use either the top or the skirt separatedly, but c'mon, when the combo looks as nice as this one, you gotta try it as a whole. 

The backdrops and backgrounds... well, this time where on the other side of the river, down on Brooklyn, and to be honest, I loved it as much as Manhattan. 

So, if you've already used a lot of denim shorts during warm months and you want to go for another style... well, long skirts can be a smart option.

A estas alturas, me imagino ya saben de mi afición por visitar (y nunca terminar de conocer) la ciudad de Nueva York. Tan grande, tan cambiante, y en verano, tan calurosa. 

Bueno, debo reconocer que como en la Ciudad de México el clima es relativamente templado todo el año, no estamos acostumbrados a los calorones que en ciudades como Nueva York tienen... y para variarle un poco al "típico" look de shorts de mezclilla, decidí usar este conjunto de Majorelle Collection que venden en Revolve. Primero, me encanta que es una falda larga, y de tela vaporosa. Segundo, me encanta que trae un top divino. 

Me encanta que se puede usar la falda y el top por separado, y también en conjunto... ya me veo usando la falda con alguna playera blanca y una chamarra de mezclilla, o bien, el top con unos jeans altos. 

Bueno, por hoy me despido, y espero les gusten estas fotitos, que por cierto ahora fueron del lado de Brooklyn...
